Project Program: A community service organization in the hamlet of East Farmingdale has retained you to provide design services in regards to a new Community Center that they wish to construct on an approximately 6.4 acre site in East Farmingdale, New York.

Site Design: is to include a new Community Center Building, with outdoor amenities / athletic facilities (with available restrooms and spectator seating as appropriate). Outdoor facilities may include, but not limited to: gardening areas, skateboard park, ice skating/splash park, tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, etc. as the designer deems appropriate for a Community Center. The designer should take full advantage of the large majority of the lot. Parking shall be computed as 1 space per 250 square feet of gross building area.
